Though I Grow Old

Though I Grow Old

Though I go blind, still will I see
Through the eyes that have always belonged to me

Though I grow weary, still will I stand
With my heart on the palm of my outstretched hand

Though I feel fear, still will I speak
Out in defense of the wounded and weak

Though I grow lonely, still will I hold
And give warmth to those who are lost in the cold

Though I lose faith, still will I sing
A warrior's song meant to honor my King

Though I fall down, still will I rise
Reaching towards heaven and clear, starry skies

And though I grow old, still will I be
A vagabond girl who once loved the sea.
