Fourteen Years
First came the pain
Anger the same
While the Second gave me new scars.
Third came the high
Fourth nearly died
And the Fifth burst into the stars
Sixth I just fought
Til I finally lost
And Seven had seen too much death
Eighth I was cold
Nine felt so old
The Tenth stole the last of my breath
Eleven had plans
Twelve battered my hands
Thirteen left me grounded in lies
My fourteen years
And all of their fears
Are buried beneath my green eyes
Deep in the dark
Of my very own heart
Year Zero will always remain
First of it's kind
It left me behind
In the land of the long, white refrain
